Staves, clefs, time and key signatures print normally but not the notes, just blank spaces where the note heads should be. Please contact me off-list.

Hello---I'm sorry I can't help you directly because I don't use Encore, but Encore files can be imported in Finale, which I use professionally, and then either printed from there or transformed in pdf, which thing gives a few more printing options (like easy printing on larger paper etc.).
The problem you report may be related to a missing/corrupted font, usually reinstalling the program gets things fixed.
If you can't solve the problem on your computer, please feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to give it a try.

probably you use an older type of printer , that misses certain fonts ???

The strange thing is that the first arrangement I made prints without problems. Everything else won't print. If one file prints, I assume that the fonts are OK.
