 Weber concerto No.1 help

In the first movement, at the end there is a trill from an F# to a G. are there any fingerings for either note that would sound clean. I am using middle on the left and pinky on the right for the F#, and middle on the left and one + two + pinky on the right for the G.

any suggestions are appreciated!

most people talk about the 1X3-XX3-Eb is sharp for the g, I agree it is too. If the F# is in tune, try trilling with the first trill key, that's usually what I do. try www.wfg.woodwind.org

There are many choices for the F#6 - G6 trill.

The "standard" F#6 fingering:

TR oxo/ooo Eb

trilling to G6 by depressing the lowest rh side key is (IMO) not satisfactory because most times the F#6 and the G6 are flat.

Better choices would be:

1. Play the F#6 as an over blown Bb5:

TR xxo + rh side key #4 / ooo Eb

trilling to G6 by lifting the 2nd finger in the left hand

or

2. Play the F#6 as:

TR xxo + rh top side keys #1 and #2 / ooo Eb

trilling to G6 by lifting the 2nd finger in the left hand
