My son used one for a couple of months. It stretched too much after that amount of time to be usable. Sounded good while it lasted ...

Try a 'real string' ligature. Use a 28 inch shoe lace or
have string long enough to wrap about six times and tuck through. (Hold the string/lace with your left hand so that an inch and a half runs parallel to the flat part of the mouthpiece and so that your first loop overlaps this tail and is about the level of where the reed starts to taper to the tip. Then make your six parallel wraps, tuck the end into the last loop, pull a little bit tight, push the whole affair down the mouthpiece a bit and then adjust the reed.

Several advantages:
1) you will not chip your reed putting it on or off.
2) easy to make fine adjustments in the lay of the reed
3) cheap cheap cheap
4) Actually works better than many ligatures.

Disadvantages
1) the reed can move around when you play. (Has not been
a problem for me, but I have done this 20 years, so
who knows what adjustments I am making without
knowing.)
2) people will walk over, eye the string, mutter something and walk away.
3) the mpc cover will not fit over the string. Bummer for situations where you need the cover to protect mpc and
reed.

try it
