I would like to give my thumbs up to the Vaccaro and Stevens clarinet barrels. They sent two and both were preferable to my own barrel. I will update my appraisal. John Price, freelance woodwind performer, Canada

John, just out of curiosity - what were you using as your regular barrel prior to the switch?

And, what make/model/vintage clarinet?
What specific issues did the new barrel resolve?

Their website does not show what the barrels look like.
It seems they are into jazz music.

Prior to these barrels I was using a Weber barrel. The Vaccaro and Stevens barrels are well crafted, no rings and slightly more bulbous than my old barrel. The website should have pictures now. My clarinet is Buffet Prestige from the 1990's. Improvements on my old barrel...mostly tonal...some pitch issues. Hi Merlin.
