I have been using M14 and M13 for my Selmer Signature (Bb) and it sounds fine and feels comfortable. However, I still want to explore other MPs which have similar close tip/long facing. Can any Signature player give me some suggestions? Gigliotti P?

Hi Jonathan;
I have a Gigliotti MP #"P" facing for sale if you're interested. It includes a Gigliotti lig.
I used it with my Selmer 10G. I no longer have the 10G and really don't have a use for the "P" MP.

I would like to have a Siganature but no money!
If I had one, I would try Greg Smith Chedeville style mouthpiece #1 with angled walls. Since Signature has a darker tone, bright tone mouthpiece seems inappropreate. But you can request Greg angled wall or pararell wall Chedeville style mouthpieces or Kasper syle mouthpiece for trial. You would be astonished to find how big tone and articulation improvement can be obtained by these hand made mouthpieces.

Bill Viseur, Tulsa, fine cl'ist, teacher and friend, in hunting for a good [or a best] mp for his Signature, asked to try out several of mine. When I mentioned some older Woodwinds, his eyes lit up when I said G8. He played it tonite in our Comm. Band with great satisfaction. He will have Brad Behn, Tulsa Philharmonic, take measurements and consider reproduction. Will add posts, or a new thread with future developments. Interesting! Don
