Martin is doing a concert in Phila in apr or may. Bartok contrasts. Looking forward to hearing him live.
No dancing which is fine with me.
Here's the concert link:
http://www.philadelphiachambermusic.org/concert.cfm?cid=414
It's listed as the Borletti-Buitoni Ensemble
with Mitsuko Uchida, piano. They don't even mention him in the performers list, you have to go to the exact concert to even know he is performing in it!!
Possibly they are on tour so may be coming to many locations.

David:
You mentioned a while back that he played sloppily in the Rossini. Can you refer me to that clip?
thank you.

I'll have to find it.
Though after hearing (purchasing) him play several other works including other Utube films, he is quite a wonderful player and among top of the field. A high school student of mine won (1st runner up) the ICA Senior level competition with that piece and I played it on my own senior recital so know it quite well and was being quite critical of the clip. I'll look for it, but hearing it we can think "well, at least he is human!"......
