Hi everyone
I have a little question regardng the Mozart Divertimento for Basset Horn Trio. Today in rehearsal with my trio we were doing the divertimento for a coming recital in the version for oboe, clarinet and bassoon from the early 20th C. The bassonist said that the divertimento were not concieved in the traditional order we have them today, and that they were intended to be played in any order i.e. playing movt 1 of the first, adagio of the 3rd etc. Can anyone confirm this? I don't really agree with the statement that was made. As far as i'm aware they were published in the movts we know them today even though the autographs are lost.
Any light would be most grateful.
