Hi everyone I trust this finds you well. I have recently purchased and old Conn bass clarinet. Well at least I think it is. It is made from hard rubber and is a 17 keyed model. But there is nothing stamped or engraved on the instrument. It came in an old Conn case to which it fits perfectly and I've dated to between the 30's and 50's. The one thing it does have which to me at least kind of confirms? its a Conn is locking grub screws on the point screws. As far as I'm aware Conn were the only company to do this. At least in my years of repairing I've never seen anyone else do this. It also has an underslung upper octave key and the lower is set up the same as the modern Prestige's. I would be gratefull If anyone help me date, model, or give me any general information on it.
On the playing side its really nice it has a dark tone with the old buffet ebony mouthpiece I'm using. Tuning is a little sketchy but I'll have to finish the alto I'm rebuilding before I embark on the mission of rebuilding it.
I can send some pictures to you if that would help.
Hopefully someone can help me.
Thanks for reading this.

Any chance you could post pictures of the salient (read interesting) features?
