 moennig bros. clarinet

I have just aquired a moennig bros. artist model clarinet, it has an inscription on it #7811 Made In Germany. I would like any information anyone may have regarding it's age, it's usefulness, value etc... Thank you in advance for your time.

I've overhauled three such clarinets, two wood and one metal. None of them was very good, I'm afraid.

I do think that they are related to the Phila. ones though also.

Gwen Paltrow is a cousin of the Phila. Moennigs (just trivia for ya)
