 Selmer CT/BT

Hi all:

I am wondering if anyone had any information on the difference between a Selmer CT and a Selmer BT.

I happen to have an R 13 made in about 1980 and it is a great horn but I have always wanted an older Selmer and those instrumets seem to be the stuff legendary.

Thanks all. This looks like a great forum!

Try doing a search, there's been lots of discussion here about them.

They're good horns, but their "love child", the Selmer Series 9 was great!

I concur, SB...I have a series 9 (NOT 9*) that is a warm, wonderfull instrument. I haven't tried a Centered Tone yet, but I'd like to, if only to hear/feel the difference.
