Hi Ezada - Since no one has responded to your inquiry, I'll try to help. The Evette & Schaeffer clarinets were "intermediate" models made by/for Buffet for advancing students, generally quite good. We have discussed them many times so I suggest your making a Search [above] for good info. Also our BBoard has a "How Old is My" listing of age vs serial #'s for many cl names, as does Saxmaniax.com, which at least portrays some "name history". I hope these may provide the info you seek. Luck, Don
Thanx, Mark, Don

If your serial number begins with a K, the serial number list here:
http://www.woodwind.org/clarinet/Equipment/HowOld/Buffet.html
may work. Look under the E13 list, which is actually the K-prefix serial numbers without the K. If your serial number begins with a K but is too low for the list, give us the serial number or, if you're not comfortable doing that, the first digit or two, followed by x's for the remaining digits and we may be able to figure it out. If it has no prefix or a letter prefix other than K, it is an older model. Again, if you give us a clue about the serial number, e.g. B3xxx, someone may be able to tell you something about it.
Best regards,
jnk
