I got a parcel from WWandBW of Zonda Classico boxes.
The box saids 'hand selecte reeds' and '100% pesticide free'. Cane seems very nice and besides it includes a small box of 5 shees drying sheets for each reed box.
Tones? Later.

I tried a couple boxes of this too. I was impressed with the price and the free sheets of cig. paper (I believe there's 50 in that little box).
Of course, it came in with about ten other brands of reeds too. Which now leads me to believe that it's all generally the same (for the cane reeds). I found the ones I could play on, then mixed'em all. If I didn't look for logos I couldn't tell a vandoren from a zonda from a ponzol from a glotin etc, etc, ad naseum.
I think I sound the same on nearly all of the normal commercial brands (didn't try any of the synthetic or really expensive ones).

Gene,I tried them. They are marvelous. I tried those with my Greg Smith Mp and Chadash barrel, and BG ligature. I experience the same tone with my 10G and 2RV with Vandoren handselected in early 1970's.
