Hi
Someone just emailed me about this and I thought others might want to check it out too. On BBC Radio 3 there is a broadcast of Richard Galliano & Michel Portal from the London Jazz Festival.
To listen go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/listen/index.shtml then click where it says iPlayer, and then click on Jazz On 3 from the list. I think it is up for about a week (started a few days ago).

I have there live CD from the 70's, it's called Blow Up. Portal can certainly do some interesting stuff.

If you get to iPlayer and can see the link to Jazz on 3 - have a look at the lower right side of the web site and you should see the heading "Don't Miss" with "Jazz Player" underneath.
Clicking on that gives you access to all Jazz related programmes within the preceding 7 days on all BBC radio channels. And keep going back to it as obviously it changes.
See it as a gift from the people of UK who pay their licence fee that pays for the BBC, to the rest of the world who don't...........!
