Search for Serial Number?

So i have a Buffet e flat clarinet with a four diget serial number. Does anyone know if there is a way i can find out more about it from a website? i just want to know how old it is and if it has its measurements anywhere

Professional Buffet Eb's are in the same serial number list (sequence) as other professional Buffet soprano clarinets. Yours is too old to make the current serial number look-up at the Buffet site. However, according to the serial number list on this website, if, as you say, all the characters in your serial number are numeric, your clarinet should fall somewhere between 1928 and 1931, depending on what the four numbers are.
