One of my favorite big bands, The GRP All Star Band now have many of their great performances on You Tube.
From their 1993 second album (The GRP All-Star Big Band Live!), Eddie Daniels (and Gary Burton) take "Sing, Sing, Sing" to a new level.
Listen especially to Eddie's great extended solo at 1'17" and his unaccompanied jazz solo at the 4' mark.

Thanks, I really liked both versions. Both had some of the best drummers too. Eddie Daniels looks angry, though I'm pretty sure he isn't (and he quoted Debussy Raphsody too, heh!).

All the cuts of the GRP band are absolutely sensational. Great video and sound. I have the CD on my amazon wish list if anyone wants to give me an early birthday present.
