 Doctor cork for lips

Hi

Does the natural cork grease from the Dcotor happen to help against dry lips like the other stuff sold for this? If it does, is it ok o use and won't be bad in any way? I'm curious because it has a better smell than anything else.

I would use vaseline instead of cork grease.

(Disclaimer - I make Doctor's cork treatments)
Actually, in a pinch when I am out of other lip balms I will use it myself. Treating and moisturizing animal skin (our lips) needs a little bit different formulation than for moisturizing and preserving cork. Burt's Bees has a nice line of bees wax based all natural lip balms that are my favorites for lips.

Look for "stagflation" in bees wax based products soon - the mysterious crash in bee hives seen in the US has more than doubled the price of bees wax as a raw material for formulations using it. At least in the US the rise in the Euro has increased prices of essential oils and exotic oils produced mainly in Europe too by about 40% in the last year.

I've found most E45 lip balms smell ok if you can't get hold of anything else - however, they might be bees wax based too.....

A product endorced by brass players, ChopSaver, works well and is inexpensive.

Omar, I tried Grenadoil (R) on my lips....my wife said I kissed like a tree (just kidding).

I use the chop saver product. It works pretty well.
