 Clarinet info needed

Hello. I have an old clarinet that had "Dumain France" engraved on it. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to find out history and approximate value of it? Thank you!

Hi D G - If you Search our archives [above "header"], you will find all we know about "Dumain", posted by our Webmaster Mark C. Back in the 1950's, a flood of "stencilled" clarinets were sold in US, many made by small French makers, Malerne was a frequently- occuring name. Luck, Don
