 Toledo Symphony features clarinet

Attended their concert last night, "A Viennese New Year," which featured the two primary clarinets in a performance of Mendelssohn's Concert Piece No. 2 in D Minor for Two Clarinets. Standing ovation followed by an encore (I couldn't hear the piece or composer).

The two are a recently married couple and the article from yesterday's Blade tells of how they met and competed (tied at one audition apiece):

I've been fortunate to study with Jocelyn since moving to Toledo at the end of 2004.
