 The birth and death of Paul Jeanjean

I have googled for it, searched for it here, and still don't know when this guy kicked the bucket.

I do not have access to the 2000 clarinet mag article, or an edition of Groves at the moment.

Could some beneficent soul help me out here?

From Page 1 of the Google search using just "Paul Jeanjean" I came up with header data that indicated 1928 as the year of death. The site was:
www.prestoclassical.co.uk/c/Jeanjean etc. etc. Probably fell over in the middle of a florid cadenza...

I must have misspelled something! I just re-googled and my first hit gave me the exact dates from a Marine Band website.
