Hi everyone,
Does anybody know whether this summer program is open to students outside of the U.S.? And if so, could anybody that has experience with this program give their review of how it's like?
Thank you!

Can't comment about allowing non-US students, but D went there after her sophomore year 4 years ago. She, nor I, was very impressed, but a lot to do with that was her and her roommate not getting along.
D went to Interlochen the next summer and still talks about how great it was. I know that Interlochen does take people from outside the US.
If you have the choice, Interlochen is far and above NHSMI, IMHO

They take international students. I attended back when it was SHSMI (Summer High School Music Institute). The program is different from Interlochen in that it is not the weekly grind fighting for spots. The professors in the NHSMI are very good and I enjoyed the program immensely. If you want to be toughened up to the professional music scene and you're a superlative player to start, Interlochen may be more the way to go. However, if you are looking to get into Northwestern for school, that's the way to go.
