I have a clarinet. I've had it since 1967. My mother bought it for me to play in the band. On the barrell and the bell in gold is inscribed :
Paris
LaMarque
France
Paris, written as a top circle, France as the bottom circle and La Marque is in the middle.
On the back is: HR95137. That is on both lower and upper joint.
I am in no way trying to sell it. It still plays well. Pads are good. Keep cork grease. It was $123.00 then. Any Idea what it would be now?
I can be reached at tinkytings@hotmail.com
THANK YOU.
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY 2K8

Most of these intermediate level clarinets are made by SML.

Take a look on Ebay, both for current sales and (via advanced search) for completed sales.

I believe this name was used by Martin Freres [Brothers]. so may be of the 1950's+ vintage and possibly a fair player. Value, minimal ! Don
Thanx, Mark, Don
