I'm trying to find the jean jean study book that has all those repeated figures for technique. So far I've bought 2 different books that weren't the one I'm looking for. Does anyone know the name of the Jeanjean study, you know, the one everyone has!?! lol

ok, sounds familiar. Does it have page upon page of 16th note patterns? Is it the scourge of practice sessions? Cuz that's the one I'm looking for.

Did Jeanjean write anything that didn't have a scourge of sixteenth notes in its' midst?
I would imagine the Vade-Mecum du Clarinetiste is what you're looking for.

yepper, it's the Vade-Mecum du Clarinettiste.........pages and pages of 16th note patterns.
Then followed by pages of etudes relating to the prior material.
other books you may be interested in using 16th note patterns are:
Lancelot: L'ecole Du Mechanisme. This book is one page per key, major and minor
Klose 209 Tone and Finger exercises. Thsi is available separately or within the Klose Complete Celebrated Method.

I may be wrong but I have a feeling you might be looking for -
331 Exercices Journaliers de Mécanisme - Perrier
this contains 331 exercises of two to four bars each that are intended to be repeated several times. They start at the bottom of the chalameau (the first one just involves low E, F and G) and the last 30 or so are in the altissimo. I've been through this book several times just doing 3 - 5 per day. Just writing this inspires me to start it again.
If this is not what you're looking for it might be very similar and I'm sure you'd be interested.

No, it's the "Vade Mecum" you want, it has a good exercise for the tounge in it. Would also get hold of the Perrier as these are also useful.
