A very sad day for me and for all of us who knew and admired him.

Yes, that is a sad day. I used to work at the ICA Research Center at the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library at the University of Maryland, and we had several autographed clarinet scores by Stockhausen that he wrote for his daughter to play. They looked quite interesting and unusual, but I have never seen or heard them performed.

I want to hear his bass clarinet pieces, who has recorded them?
