Hey everyone...
I have stumbled on an Evette Schaeffer Buffet Crampon clarinet, and I will be honest- I know nothing about them other than a rumor that they are more or less an older version of the E-11? I really am just looking for some light on the whole situation... maybe when they were made? Any help would be great!

A search on "Evette Schaeffer" (no quotes needed) will yield lots to read.
Always a good place to start...GBK

About 25 years a go they were very nearly the same acoustic design as the r13, according to Dr. Gibson.

There were several models, and they differed in price as well as performance characteristics. I have and Evette-Schaeffer Master Model from the late 1960s which still plays very nicely.
