i have a glass mouthpiece that i have tried to get a good sound out of . The problem seemed to be the reed in combo with the mp. i tried every reed i have 2,2 1/2,3 and hard. sitting on my shelve of things i hadn't use for a while was a Rico Plactic coated reed. My goodness i have a new mouthpiece.
The point of this story is don't give up trying to solve a problem. It just take a little bit of time.
