Hi all,
Another first year college clarinetist and I are working on a duet entitled "Sezisler Intuitions" (Op.4), by A. Adnan Saygun. It was published in 1957 by Southern Music... We've searched various music encyclopedias and have come up with very little about the composer and virtually nothing about the piece itself. Above the title are the words "Kardesim NEBILE YAR'a". I have tried to find a translation of this, but have run into difficulties. We were wondering if anyone could shed some light on the composer or on the piece... has anybody performed or heard it?
Thanks,
LIAM

Google is your friend. If you search on Adnan Saygun, you will get a number of relevant hits, the first of which gives a biography and seemingly comprehensive list of works.

BTW, it appears to me from the site that "Intuitions" may be the English translation of the Turkish word "sezisler."
Best regards,
jnk
