So i was surfing the you tube videos and stumbled upon something pleasantly soothing to the ear. Hang drums are what they are called, and seem to be a modern combination of steel drums and gongs? Anyone know any more information about these instruments?
not as articulate as Jamacian drums, but still unique in it self.

We call it Pantam. I think they are made only in Switzerland. At least the good ones that people here play. Maybe there are other places that I don't know about (recently someone from USA also told me they have to order them from Switzerland). You can choose the scale from about 100 or more options. It has one lower note (usually the 5th) in the middle and then the scale around it.
What else would you like to know? Maybe I can help.
