Author: Signe

We're looking for suggestions for duets and trios for clarinet in the 4 thru 5+ range. Some favorites are the Russell Abstracts, Cavallini Duets, the Haydn Sonatas---good literature. Thanks!!! Signe

I forgot to mention that I'd like information on what publishing companies to order from. Signe

Try the Donizetti duet (I think it's called a Sonata).
What does "4 through 5+" mean?

Signe: this is not supposed to be a commercial place, but you "might" take a look at the *sponsors* page. There are several duet sellers there including mine, JB Linear Music.

Signe -

I recently listed a number of items at <A HREF=http://www.sneezy.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?id=23639>http://www.sneezy.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?id=23639<A>. In particular, the transcription of the Beethoven trio for 2 oboes and English horn, at the end vol. 3 of the Langenus method, is terrific.

If you're comfortable playing high, there are several volumes of flute duets by Khulau that are excellent music and work well on clarinets.

<A HREF=http://www.luybenmusic.com/>Luyben Music<A> stocks everything and is a good place to start your search.

Best regards.

That would be the difficulty, with 6 being the most difficult. Signe
