hi
first i have no idea about clarinetes, I have these 2 d.noblets and as far as i know they have been in the family for ever.
i would like to know how this system/key arrangement is called , and age is possible.
serial#`s are 624 and 625

the second one is identical to the one pictured
on the mouthpiece says in script "emperor" "3" and "France"
any info is much appreciated

Hi Nick - I tried to find your pics without success, I'm not very skillful, I guess. I believe the d is for Denis, maker?, earlier than its joining Leblanc ? A Search [here] may help you, and I believe you can find some Leblanc etc history at www.saxmaniax.com , or in our BBoard archives which might also help. HELP, GBK, pliz. Don
