Hey again. I had a question about the Sr. High All state tryouts. You see, someone told me that I had read the tempo marking on the last exercise (page 244 of Klose, stop line 13, measure 2, beat 1). It said that MM half note=96. I thought that meant that it was extrememly fast. But the guy told me that if I counted in quarter notes, it would be MM quarter note=48. I know he's probably right, but I was looking at it and seeing how the exercise is about 13 lines long, seems it would take 10 minutes to complete the exercise and I just thought that was weird. Plus, playiing it that slow made it a lot easier; especially compared to the other 2 exercises. I'm sure that most of you have played it b4, so I'd appreciate it a lot if ya'll just told me for sure. Cuz, I hate to say that I think he's wrong, but I'm just not sure. Thanx everybody!

Half notes at 96 is the same as quarter notes at 192. "The guy" was mistaken.
