Hi! I am trying to find this piece for clarinet by Weber, but I can't think of the name. This is all I know it starts with an R. It's title is ____ and Polacca. Or something like that. Can you help??

You're possibly referring to the last movement of Weber's
Second Clarinet Concerto which is marked, "Alla polacca". Polacca means Polish in Italian. "Alla Polacca" would mean
"in tne manner of the Polish style" ..or possibly Polonaise.
However, I seem to remember another piece...... Try playing the following rather quickly: 16th rest followed by these 16th notes:
(16th rest)E,(up to)G,(up to)C,(up to)E,(down one octave to)E,(up to) G (rest and repeat.)

You want the "Recitative and Polacca" by Weber, the 2nd and 3d movements of his "Second Concerto." Hope this helps and good luck.

Charles Nydich (spelling???) has a CD out with this Second Concerto on it. In the closing section of the "Polacca" you can hear some pretty amazing triple-tonguing if you listen closly.
