I recently tried a Legere reed. I like the stability, longevity, and projection; but it's a little too soft so I have decided to buy a harder "reed". I'm trying to decide if I should just buy the next hardest Legere or try a Harry Hartmann. Has anyone tried them? Are they worth the price difference? Thanks.

If you bought it reciently and haven't used any sandpaper or reed knife on it then you can exchange it for a different strength.

I'm like David S. I tried one on tenor sax, too. Didn't like it.
