 Steinway to purchas UMI

Steinway, the great piano maker and owner of Selmer has just announced it is purchasing UMI. UMI Holdings has such lines as Armnstrong flutes and King instruments. UMI brass has always in my opinion been very good, however their woodwind line has been sorely lacking. Perhaps now we will see some innovations. Go to the following link to view the press release:
