Well, I took the advice and purchased an iMac last week and everything seems OK so far except that I have a problem with GB.
I have been attempting to 'write' some music via the ''Graphic Format'' and in the ''Editing Notes in a Software Instrument region'' of the HELP menu it cites the use of ''Command+click'' to facilitate the writing process.
My problem is that the keyboard does not show a ''command'' key.
I have tried some key combinations of shift+ click, control+click, option+click and also that one to the right of ''option'' - the one with the Apple logo and squiggly doodad on it.
Nothing seems to work. Would someone kindly explain just what the ''Command'' key actually is, and if it's something staring me in the face, could you explain how to place the desired notes in to the graphic format bar lines?
I have purchased a book on iMac ''Tiger'' and have searched the computer itself, for the location of this mysterious key, by the way.
Many thanks,
ned
[p.s.] There does not appear to be a ''clarinet'' amongst the choices in ''Software Instrument'' box of options.
