An elderly man came in my store and asked what this clarinet might be worth. It is all ebony and it says Oxford, and the case says Boosey and Hawkes.

Hi Buckey - When I saw that you had no responses from our posters who are knowledgable about cls made by B & H, I made a quick Search [look at the top of our BB, click Search and enter Boosey Oxford] where I found some info as late as early 2007. From brief readimg, it seems that Oxford is one of B & H's older "student" models, probably relatively inexpensive as new, likely only "fair" in playability. Value prob. low. Luck, Don

If it has nickel plated keys, it's the same as a B&H Edgware - an equivalent clarinet today is a Buffet E11 or Yamaha YCL-450.
What's the serial number?
