I'm looking for a list of clarinet competitions, festivals, camps or even youth orchestras that I could audition for. I'm from Canada but would be willing to look at things in the states and perhaps else where. I know of a few things but I just wanted to see what else is out there.

Well I am from Pennsylvania, currently a high school senior. We have county bands which are more or less directors choice of who gets in. From there we have District, Regional and All State band. One must tryout and first make district band and then from there retry out at districts for regionals, and then once again for all - states. There is MENC all easterns and such festivals from there. This is all of course for high school musicians. Other festivals can be held by colleges, and different organizations though. Hope i was the least little bit of help.

I know that the ICA holds competitions like the High School, Orchestral Audition and Young Artists competitions. The only festivals that I really know of are ones like Eastern Music Festival, Tanglewood, Aspen, Brevard, etc.

The top two websites are great resources. I personally use the Peabody page as a list of bookmarks, basically. I'm a nerd.
Anyway, being in Canada doesn't mean THAT much. Where in Canada are you? (It is, afterall, the 2nd largest country in the world!).
I'm here in Montreal, and there are several orchestras and ensembles just on the island. Also, what experience level are you? People are recommending the full spectrum it seems, but it would be good to know what prior experiences you've under your belt.
I'm sure you know about NYO (nyoc.org), and NAO is something you might know about (nationalacademyorchestra.com), but those are at the top of the Canadian list of festivals, along with Banff in Alberta and maybe SOAP on the Powell River in BC (don't remember the site). Other than that, Domaine Forget and Orford provide great musical opportunities with less exclusivity. Then there are the Toronto Summer Music and NACO's Young Artist programmes, but this is getting ridiculous. Email me off the board or IM me and we can chat about it. I'm just speculating too much now.
