i play flute and clarinet.
things i like playing on the flute, i don't enjoy on the clarinet because
as written, the pieces don't use the chalemeu register of the clarinet and spend too much time in the altissimo.
For instance Bach's sonata for solo flute (BWV 1013) goes from d below the staff to a 5 lines above the staff. Similar for CPE Bachs sonata for solo flute.
Are there any versions available where pieces like this are transposed
to the comfort zone of the clarinet. Like the Bach pieces written in D minor
instead of A minor.?
Same goes for flute sonatas with piano accompaniment.
I'd like to find scores like this ready made rather than put in the labor to
do it myself with a notation program.
thanks.

The mutopia project has several of them in Lilypond format. It's reasonably easy to have Lilypond transpose them to a different key.

Try dropping the key a 4th or 5th eg C major to G or F major. The problems then are you may destroy the character of the music, and you will have to do it yourself.

The Voxman book "Classical Studies" has many of the Bach solo violin and solo cello works (although not the flute BWV 1013) written in keys which keep the clarinet in the lower range of the instrument.
For the complete BWV 1013, it is found in Ron Caravan's "Bach for the Clarinet" but it is in the clarinet key of A minor ...GBK

All the Bach flute sonatas and much more besides are available free on http://imslp.org/wiki/Main_Page. BWV1033 works beautifully on the clarinet, either as written or transposed.

There's also Bach's complete works on line at http://emc.elte.hu/~pinter/BGA.html
Selected violin pieces and trumpet pieces work well for clarinet.
