i play flute and clarinet.
things i like playing on the flute, i don't enjoy on the clarinet because
as written, the pieces don't use the chalemeu register of the clarinet and spend too much time in the altissimo.
For instance Bach's sonata for solo flute (BWV 1013) goes from d below the staff to a 5 lines above the staff. Similar for CPE Bachs sonata for solo flute.
Are there any versions available where pieces like this are transposed
to the comfort zone of the clarinet. Like the Bach pieces written in D minor
instead of A minor.?
Same goes for flute sonatas with piano accompaniment.
I'd like to find scores like this ready made rather than put in the labor to
do it myself with a notation program.
thanks.
