Hello everyone!
I just bought the Vandoren Optimum Ligature and just love the way it sounds and plays. Well, I have the original pressure plate in (the one it came in). I want to try some of the others, since I also play jazz clarinet (the original works better for classical). Well, I read everything and I still am not able to figure out how to change the plate. I understand what it says, but I can't change it. Any pointers or like experiences???
Thanks!
Amanda

Amanda;
Position the Lig upside down with the screw knob on the right side. Use your right hand to turn the screw counter clockwise and with your left index finger press down on the pressure plate. With just about a half turn of the screw and a little downward pressure the plate should pop off.
To install another plate just reverse the above procedure.
Questions -- you can email me direct if you like.
Cheers,
Paul

Yes at first I could not understand how to unmount and mount. It needed a little more of finger force than I expected.
Vandoren's homepage has a more understandable visual instruction.
