Involuntary bodily functions

Last evening, while playing bass clarinet in an outdoor concert, I had an uncontrollable urge to sneeze in the middle of a phrase. Trying to hide it, I kept the mouthpiece in my mouth. Big mistake. My front teeth caught my Legere reed and split it. Fortunately I had a backup and replaced it at the end of the number. It was not a new reed, and I am lucky not to have broken my mouthpiece, or worse, a tooth.

Tonight, while driving to work drinking an iced coffee, I couldn't stop myself from laughing at something on the radio. That resulted in coffee all over my clean, white shirt, and necessitated a trip home to change.

What a klutz I am!
