Has anyone ever used Norbeck pads and if so please tell us your results.

Please do a search, there've been numerous discussions (some of them very lively!) about these and other proprietary pads.
My personal opinion is that they stink. The silicone pad material is sticky and collects every bit of dust, dirt and grime around, and the silicone pads tends to de-bond from their cork backing disks and slide around. My advice is to run, not walk away from Norbeck pads. But others may disagree, as you shall see!

You won't catch me disagreeing. The de-bonding problem is new to me, though, because the one time I tried to use them, I thought they were so bad I removed them before they had time to de-bond.

I have used them occasionally in the past (but not for a few years), and as far as I know, exceptionally reliably. I have found them pretty well indestructible. Certainly no delamination.
I have just tried to deliberately delaminate one and found it VERY difficult. I suspect that if they have delaminated, then they were exposed to too much heat, or there was a bad batch.
They do not bed in at all, so the accuracy of the key's pivot, the tone hole edge, and the pad installation must be of a very high standard, even more fussy than cork.
They do tend to have a feeling of sticking to the tone hole, but to the extent of affecting technique. However, unlike some discerning customers, I find that a bit disconcerting.
