hello again.
in my seemingly never-ending quest to find the perfect grad school, i've hit upon the idea of a doubling degree. so far, i've only heard about Ball State U. as having the WW doubling degree. So my question is: what other schools in the middle of country (think Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, et. al.) offer degrees in doubling AND have a well-respected faculty?
also, should i plan on taking my GRE even though some schools that i am looking at don't require it for a master's degree?
thanks so much!
JK

I believe that Michigan State offers a Masters Degree in Woodwinds (ie: doubling) but that was when I was there in the 90's...

I believe that the University of North Texas offers a woodwinds degree.

Jennifer,
I keep a list of schools with doubling degrees here.
Also check out this thread on the Sax on the Web doubling forum.
I can't see any reason to take the GRE unless you are applying to a school that requires it.
Good luck,
Bret
