 Clarinetfest: Ad Hoc Ensembles?
Author: EEBaum

Hey... this year will be my first C-Fest. I was wondering if there tend to be facilities/venues/interest for setting up ensembles on the fly? Thought it might be fun to play duets, trios, clarinet choirs, etc. with random people at the conference.

It's rather easy to meet someone at ClarinetFests and play duets , as you can usually go to your hotel room or wherever you're staying and play.

At some Fests, there are some practice rooms available, although these are usually taken over by the performers at the Fest.

Getting together larger groups would be more difficult; the larger the grouping, the more difficult to arrange.

Have fun - say HI.
