Hello
Does anyone have any information about a bass clarinet model from Buffet which is old, and has a waterkey on the neck. It also has a double register (one vent on the neck) and the neck is one piece (not tunable).
Thanks.

I believe the first incarnation of the 1193 had a waterkey on the bottom of the neck. The neck was, however, adjustable so perhaps this is not what you were referring to. I played on an 1193 like this in college and it was very good!

Thanks Michael. Do you know about what year was that first incarnation of the 1193 with the waterkey? I'm guessing the bass clarinet I'm talking about is older, but it's not a bad model at all. Actually the specific bass clarinet that I'm talking about belongs to Wolfgang Fuchs from Germany http://www.efi.group.shef.ac.uk/musician/mfuchs.html
