 Saint-Saens: Tarantelle

Does anyone know the history of Saint-Saens' Tarantelle for flute, clarinet and piano/orchestra? I believe it was written in 1857 and premiered at one of Rossini's soirees musicales the same year but another source says it was originally written in 1851. I also know the flautist was Dorus and the clarinetist was Leroy at this performance but does anyone know if the premiere was with orchestra or did Saint-Saens play the piano? What I would really like to know is if the orchestra version came first or was it first written for piano and orchestrated later.

Thanks for your help!
