Good stuff. A clarinetist who can play and not look like a clown moving all over playing out of tune-who knew?

Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain - and most fools do.
( Dale Carnegie )
But I have to say, he is standing very far away....

Just listened to the Copland. What I like is that he plays with extreme confidence and seems to have a very definate idea about style and phrasings. What I don't like is the liberty he takes in the first cadenza--but what he does, he does well. Just from a pure technical point of view, I wish I could articulate as quickly and precisly as he does. And he does do a bit more bobbing and weaving for you fans of dance. Overall, I impressed--thanks Old Guy for the posting.

Karabacak is 25 years old. He's from Turkey and is studying for his master's degree at the Royal College of Music London which he expects to receive next year...he's doing OK!
