I am looking for some sacred pieces written for clarinet and soprano with accompaniment. I believe Schubert wrote something like this, but I can't remember. Any ideas out there?

Depends what you mean by "sacred."
I consider the following to be sacred:
Schubert: Shepherd on the Rock (Hirt auf dem Felsen)
Mozart: Parto, parto!
Mozart: Non piu di Fiori
Spohr: Six German Songs

Hi,
"Shepherd on the Rock" is a lovely, lovely piece - but it is a love song about a shepherd on a mountain top etc. It lasts about ten minutes, but is wonderful for the soprano as well as the clarinet.
Now, for the sacred pieces from our collection:
"As Dew in April" by Richard Cumming
"Four Christmas Songs" by Peter Cornelius
"Beautus Vir" by Ferdinando Paer
"Salve Regina" by Franz Schubert
"Totus in corde Lanqueo" by Franz Schubert
There are other pieces that have been written for Ariel 3 which have not been published yet. We have been most fortunate to have a couple of good composition friends.

The Schubert piece is indexed in his works as Offertorium, Totus in Corde Langueo, D. 136, Op. 46. It's for soprano, clarinet in C and strings, which a good pianist will be able to read from the score. The tempo is moderately slow, and the transposition for clarinet is similarly quite easy.
Telemann's Harmonische Gottesdienst contains a dozen or so cantatas with oboe obligato, many of which will work on clarinet. However, the soprano parts are difficult.
Bach cantata arias with oboe work beautifully with clarinet, and the ones for oboe d'amore can be played without transposition on the A clarinet. Jennifer Paull is an oboe d'amore specialist, who could steer you to good stuff. See http://www.amoris.com/jennifer_paull/index.html. She's a monomaniac about the oboe d'amour and can be very annoying, but she's a fine player and knows more than almost anyone else.

There is a gorgeous Ave Maria written for soprano clarinet and piano, unfortunately i cant remember who it was by! It also works for 2 clarinets, clarinet and flute, or clarinet and violin

Blending with a true soprano voice requires tight tuning... it can sound VERY hard if your singer is pressing hard.
Better choice, a Mezzo-soprano or Alto.
Too many Sopranos belt the highest notes, in competition with the 'comp.
