My Buescher Aristocrat

Hi i recently brought a Buescher clarinet off ebay for £55..Its a plastic model,and the case as a definitely 50s feel,there's one number on the upper joint 1218849..

Ive check on music trader and the numbers are all 6 figures..Any idea of age ? did the numbers restart when Buescher were sold ? it seems pretty new its in great condition..It appears to have some age to it,the writing on there is a little faded etc..
