My lower g note on the lower joint of the clarinet is stuffy in relation to other notes. all the other notes project, with the exception of that note. how do you go about opening the sound out on that note? Undercutting the tone hole a bit more?

Have your tech check the pad height of the low F# and Low E keys ...GBK

Check if there's a leak at the G#/D# pad. Maybe the spring keeping it closed is too weak.

Ahhh i still can't figure out why the note is stuffy. i checked the pad heights of the lower pads below the G, but they seemed at a normal height. the pads still have their seal. my hunch is that the F key is a little lower then the E key and thus the air has to circulate to the E key to resonate? is there any way to test that? should i pop that pad off?

How's the D a twelfth above it sound? When you hit the register key? Is it also stuffy? Don't know what it would mean, but maybe that'd help someone more tech-oriented on the board to diagnose what could be the problem.

remove the f/c key and play low A to low G.... is the G still stuffier than A? If not then it's probably to do with the f/c pad height.
inspect the f/c tonehole and remove any lint etc
ditto for the right hand open toneholes- while i have no personal experience with this, supposedly the state of toneholes above the venting tonehole (if that makes sense) can influence the voicing.

a general pad hight rule is that they should be inline with the outer diameter of the wood. if the F pad is in the cut-out for the tone hole this usually can create problems.
