I want a Long Facing mouthpiece I'm kinda like...maybe a Vandoren M13 or something. People say vandoren makes bad mouthpieces becasue they are mass produce but I use a vandoren reed and it makes since for the reed and the mouthpiece to be same brand. Right now I use a Tom Ridenour MT-36 and it gets on my nerves sometimes. I want to be able to play V12's well.

I'm always trying to find that perfect reed to work on my mouthpiece...but finding a mouthpiece to work on my reed is interesting indeed!

So what is your objectives? To use V12s (what strength) and to use a Vandy long faced mpc ?
Both should be easily achievable. vandy makes the 5JB, M15, B40 and M30 i think are their long facing mpcs. I believe their website has a chart of the mpcs and the openings that they have. Match the tip openings to your objectives and pick the right strength reed and you are done.
Other than possible making sure the table & rails are good but i've always had good luck with Vandy mpcs.
Why do you want a long facing mpc ?
maybe we are misunderstanding what you are asking

FYI
coped from the Vandy website - i've ben curious which was which too
The regular Vandoren mouthpieces such as the B45, 5RV Lyre, B40, etc. are all tuned to A442.
The 13-series mouthpieces such as the M13, M15 13, B40 13, 5RV lyre 13, etc. are tuned to A440.

Vandoreen doesn't make bad mouthpieces, rather there is a wide range of inconsistancy from unplayable to pretty darn good. I have yet to play a great Vandoreen that has not been touched up by a mouthpiece artisian. On average, Vandoreens are playable mouthpieces for a reasonable price that will serve the average hobby-ist well.
If you are a more advanced player, you will demand more from your mouthpiece and you will also know what to look for. Odds are, you'd be better off purchasing a mouthpiece from a living re-facer or maker....or even have them touch up an existing mouthpiece.
I am not familiar with the Ridenour MT-36. It is possible that the V12's are not a good match for the mouthpiece. Have you tried the Vandoreen regular blue box reeds, or Regular Gonzales? There is no rule that Vandoreen reeds can only be used on Vandoreen mouthpieces.
It is cheaper and easier to try a different style of reed than a different mouthpiece. If you can not find a style of reed you like, that produces the desired tone and articulation, then it is possible that the culprit is the mouthpiece.
Do you have a teacher?

M15 has a long facing and in my experience works well with V12 #4

I agree. If you don't know what Vandoren to get. The M15 is a great place to start. It's hard to sound bad on an M15. As mentioned V12 #4 works well on this mouthpiece.
